Promises Delivered!
Promises Made. Promises Kept.
Our democracy only works when our citizens are engaged. Public office requires open communication and problem solving as well as a commitment to the challenges that face our neighborhoods. I have shown my dedication to collaborate with residents, community partners, and fellow leaders because I have always believed the best solutions don’t come from one person behind a desk. They come from a community that shows up, speaks up, and works together toward something better.
When I made promises to District 4 and the people of Vista, I meant them. And I have spent every day in office working to keep those promises.
Words in Action
536 Matagual
Home to a future park in Vista, CA
After 20 years of Vista residents fighting to stop development, I delivered on my promise to acquire this land and turn it into a future park for Vista, CA.
Community Safety
Public Safety Choice
I am honored to carry the endorsement of both the Deputy Sheriff’s Association and the Vista Fire Fighters Association. In my first 3 years we added 3 new Deputies, 12 EMT’s and 2 new ambulances.
Melrose & Dawson Traffic Light
After more than a decade of ignored requests to previous Councils, I was able to deliver a new traffic light for the residents of Dawson Ridge. Increasing traffic safety and pedestrian mobility at one of Vista’s more dangerous intersections.
Green Oak Ranch
I successfully pushed back on the County acquiring Green Oak Ranch and kept the land under Local Control for our neighbors in Shadowridge Crossing and all across Vista, CA.
New Sidewalks on Sunset
When I ran for office, I promised the residents on Sunset that I would bring sidewalks to their neighborhood if I were elected. I am proud to have delivered on that promise, so now students have a safe pathway to school, families can go for a stroll, and residents can walk safely in their community.
